Compassion Day

This is the 3rd year for MPC's annual Compassion Day, where the church goes out and serves the community in a variety of ways. This year on May 12th over 200 people went out to work and serve in any area they could to show the love of Jesus to our neighbors. The student ministries served in 2 areas. The Confirmation class served with the pastors and elders at Peebles Fire hall which is just across the street from us. The rest of the students headed once again down to the North side to serve at The Pittsburgh Project, a site dear to our hearts. We worked outside planting, weeding and mulching. It is great to be part of a church family that loves to go and serve not just on Compassion day but everyday wherever we are!
