Year in Review

2010 has been a great year for the Students at Memorial Park Church. We have served the community through tutoring at the Pittsburgh Project, visiting nursing homes, participating in our churchwide Compassion Day by working at a shelter that serves homeless men, we also made and bagged lunches for Light of Life soup kitchen on the North Side. Our students have also served our neighbors in many ways on their own. We haved served on 2 mission trips in the summer, the Jr High went to Chattanooga TN and the Senior High went to Logan WV. There has also been many times of learning and growth through Jr and Sr high youth group, small groups and Sunday School. Night on the town, hayrides, lock ins, Laurelville retreats, ice cream sundaes, games, parties, Kennywood, football, scavenger hunts, pumpkin olympics, corn mazes and many other outings were great times of laughter and fun. We wish you many of God's blessings in 2011. Pray for the Student Ministry of MPC to continue to grow in Christ as we seek to minister to students and serve our neighbors near and far.
